We are a AAA rated 3 diamond, award winning property. We offer a delicious hot complimentary breakfast featuring fresh self-serve Belgian waffles served everyday and biscuits and gravy on Saturday and Sunday mornings. Nestled back from the road on Hwy 160, just 2.5 miles east of Pagosa Springs on the way to Wolf Creek Pass, the High Country Lodge sits on wooded acreage with breathtaking views of the continental divide. We are a mountain retreat that is located in a year-round outdoor wonderland that includes world renowned hunting and fishing, awesome skiing, hiking, white water rafting, and mountain biking. The property has ten modern log cabins and 25 rooms. Our lobby has a huge moss rock fireplace, comfortable leather sofa and chairs, a huge trophy moose, mountain lion, and lots of memorabilia from around the world. The High Country Lodge specializes in family reunions and prides itself as being a family-oriented property with children*s play area, stocked trout lake, large open areas, hiking trails, horse corrals, barbecue and picnic tables.
