The Holiday Inn-Lakeside hotel in Detroit Lakes is located on the North Shore of Big Detroit Lake in Northwestern Minnesota. The Hotel offers a 500 foot sandy beach with swimming area and docking facilities. We also offer, canoes, kayaks, and paddle boats, a fishing boat and pontoons. Our hotel has a picnic area with charcoal grills adjacent to our kiddie playground, which rivals many city parks. We also provide top quality Schwinn bikes to fit nearly any family member with an excellent bike trail passing right by our front door. In season we also provide outdoor patio service for our Ice house Bar & Grill. Our indoor recreation center features a swimming pool, whirlpool, sauna, ping pong table, and arcade. We have added a state of the art physical fitness center adjoining our Recreation Center. Summer attractions include Fishing for record breaking Muskies, Boating, Birding, Tennis and of course, Golf. We are located within five miles of seven different Golf Courses, such as Fair Hills & Pine to Palm. In winter we are the Trailhead for 250 miles of groomed snowmobile trails. Ice Fishing is another activity located right out our back door, with ice house rentals available. For your Convention and Meeting needs we offer space to accommodate 350 guests with breakout space available.
